- Is the time updating?
- If not wait for 60 seconds and check again.

All Fobs Not Working
- Is fob damaged. Check contact surface is not overly dented.
- Is fob clean. Wipe with a cloth.
- Is fob reader clean. Wipe with a cloth.
- Is fob reader excessively worn. Large pits make fob wobble on reader.
- Reboot Till

UPS
No Power
- Check Cables
- Make sure UPS is turned on. Press and hold Power Button for 2 seconds

Battery Light
- The Battery light is a indicator that the battery in the unit has failed. The unit will not supply power if the fails. But will not hinder operation of the till. UPS will beep occasionally to alert you to the error. You can optionally turn off the till pull the cables out of the back of the UPS and join them up this will bypass the UPS. You can now power down the UPS until its fixed.

Overload Light
- You have connect a device that’s drawing too much power disconnect the item and cycle the power on the UPS and turn back on the till.
Printers
Errors on Screen
- When a printer is in a state of error GPOS will display an error telling the operator. Fix the error and then press the error message text in the bottom right for GPOS to retest.
No Power
- Check Power Switch
- Check Power Cable
- Check Plug Fuse
- Check Socket. Is it providing power?
- On Printers with external power pack is there a power light illuminated on it.

Printer Jam
- Open printer remove jam and refit paper roll.
- Check paper is it the correct type and size for printer.
- Is there a foreign object in the printer. Old roll tubes?
- Cycle power to reboot printer.
- If jams happen frequently contact Harmony EPOS Solutions Support for repair of the unit.
Data Cables
- If power is OK and the Paper is OK. Check data cables for receipt it’s a big connector in the back of the printer. Kitchen Printers there is a small network cable. Make sure they are plugged securely. For network printers make sure all switches and printers are plugged in and turned on.

Error Lights
- When paper is low a error light will illuminate but not effect operation.
- When paper runs out a error light will illuminate and a buzzer will sound and printer will not work until a new paper roll is fitted.
Print Blank Receipts(Thermal)
- Is the paper in back to front? Open printer, flip roll and retest.
- Thermal paper is only thermal on one side. To test paper run fingernail on each side and the side a black mark is shown is the correct side.
- Is the paper thermal paper? If the fingernail test fails on both side paper is not thermal or faulty. Replace.

Print Faint/Blank Receipts(Non-Thermal)
- Check Ribbon is present.
- Check Ribbon is moving. Open front cover and you can see the ribbon moving.

Reset Printer
- Turn Power Off
- Hold down paper feed button
- Turn Power On
- Test Print with setting will print out
- Turn Power Off then On again.
- Retest
